Meet Sara

Hi, I’m Sara Escobar, the hands and heart behind Manguaré Accessories. Originally from Colombia and now based in Canada, my journey began in social work, where I connected with diverse communities and experienced the power of storytelling and human connection. That same sensitivity and attention to detail now live in every piece I create.

Manguaré was born from discovering a traditional Colombian bead-weaving technique that quickly became more than a creative outlet, it became a way to express identity, culture, and intention through handmade accessories.

Every creation is made with intention in my studio in Ontario, honoring Colombian craftsmanship and celebrating slow, thoughtful design. No two pieces are exactly the same, making each one a small expression of art, culture, and individuality.
